Sonya is up against it: by Asia

I recieved this invitation this morning, one of our local young athletes has been diagnosed with cancer. I am not sure how Sonya is going to deal with this but I personally believe that with her athletic backgound and the support of the community that she is in the best possible place to get on with her treatment.

Good Luck Sonya and thanks for organizing the event Asia.

This past Sunday, the entire LV community got together to support one of our local cyclists who endured breast cancer surgery. The ride was put together by an angel by the name of ASIA. Asia is Sonya's good friend and went out of her way to help her friend. the ride took place at the entrance of the Valley of Fire by the Indian smoke shop. Upwards of 100 cyclist participated and donated their hard earned money and time for the cause. The ride went all the way to Mouse's Tank where a lunch and goodies awaited the hungry riders. Afterwards, a lunch was provided and a huge raffle took place. Everyone had a great time dispite the windy conditions. I tip my helmet to Asia who, organized a fantastic event!!! We are all behind Sonya with our thoughts prayers and I'm sure she will come out of this just fine...................Victor...............................PS: Anecdote of the ride: Fast Tony drafted the sag wagon to latch on to the lead group!...............Way to go!!!
